Cristina has been practicing yoga for over twelve years and has found that it has made her feel both empowered and at peace. She received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification through Yoga Haven in 2014 and is registered through Yoga Alliance. She is dedicated to the lyengar style of yoga and is currently participating in 2 year training with Patricia Walden in Boston, MA. Through compassion and care, her teaching focuses on form while directing awareness to the body and breath. She believes that through working towards alignment in the body, we develop equanimity in the mind and in life. Cristina provides a lighthearted yet focused class which allows students to feel comfortable and purposeful working on their own practice. It is her hope that everyone will carry yoga beyond the class with deeper mindfulness to experience life.
