New to studio?

– Please come 10-15 minutes early for your first class so that you can complete your registration and get settled.
– Please be on time for class. If you are late for a Yoga class, enter quietly after the opening meditation is finished. Permission to join a class more than 5 minutes will be granted at each instructor’s discretion.

– Please note the door does lock once class has begun unless noted otherwise-arrive in a timely manner

– Elevate provides a large restroom and small changing room

– Leave your coat, shoes, and large belongings outside the studio.

– All props are provided at studio… all you need to bring is yourself and an open mind!

What should I wear/bring to class?

We recommend you bring your own Yoga Mat (although we do have mats at the studio for you to use or for purchase), and suggest you wear comfortable clothing that won’t distract you during your practice. All props are provided at the studio, and all we ask you to bring is an open mind to absorb and experience all that Elevate has to offer.

 

I am a beginner. Which class should I take?

We recommend that beginners start with either Yoga Fundamentals or Gentle Yoga in order to learn the basics before attending an All Levels or Level 2 class. For the Yoga Wall, we ask that you take the Yoga Wall Fundamentals Class as an introduction to the other wall classes offered. Barre Fusion classes are for all levels.

Should I arrive early?

Yes, we suggest arriving at least 10 minutes early to check in so we can help you get settled on your mat and transition into a quiet mindset for your practice.

 

What happens if I am late to class?

There will be times that the front door gets locked once a class begins, especially if it’s the last class of the day and desk staff has already left. Unfortunately, in this case there is no way to enter the studio. When the class begins, open mats may be filled by standby students. If you are signed up to class but arrive late, you run the risk of losing your spot to someone from the waitless and will be charged as a “Late Cancel.”

Will I be penalized for canceling my reservation?

If you cancel your reservation within 24 hours of class, it is considered a “Late Cancel” and you will be charged for the class. If you cancel before that 24 hour period, you will not be charged and that credit will be returned to your account for future use.

Waitlist policy: 

When classes are completely full, you can reserve a place on the waitlist. You have to purchase a class credit before you can put yourself on the waitlist, BUT if you don’t get a spot, that credit will be returned to your account for future use. If mats open, we confirm waitlisted clients in the order of their online sign-up. When that happens, you will receive an email confirmation stating that you have a reserved place in The Class. Please note that if you unchecked the box that says “unsubscribe to email notifications” when you created your MINDBODY account, you will NOT receive an email notification when added into the class.

Please remember that joining the waitlist is a commitment to class. If you receive an email notification when added but then chose not to attend, that will be considered a “No Show.” We encourage all students to take themselves off the waitlist if they know they will not be able to attend class.

We also encourage waitlisted clients to come to the studio in case there are no-shows or late cancellations. If there are empty mats 3 MINUTES before the start of the class, we will release those mats to standby clients in the order of the waitlist. If you are confirmed for class but running late, please call the studio to let us know and we will hold your place!
